Ceylonese Community in Malaysia Organised a Candlelight Vigil at the Malaysian Ceylonese Community Centre, 26 April 2019

Ceylonese community in Malaysia organized a candlelight vigil in memory of the victims and their families on recent attacks in Sri Lanka at the Malaysian Ceylonese National Community Centre on Friday, 26 April 2019.

Most Venerable Datuk Dr. Kirinde Dhammarathana Nayaka Thero of Buddist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, Most Reverenced Tan Sri Datuk Murphy Nicholas Xavier Pakiam, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese, Kuala Lumpur, Reverened Dr. Herman Shastri, Council of Churces, Reverend Albert P. Abhisegam of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brmasri Pararaja Senthura Shama of Robson Mahamariamman Temple, Sivabalan Jeganathan Iyer of Sri Muneswarar Amman Temple of Taman Kanagapiram conducted the religious observances.

Kulasegaran, President of Malaysian Sri Lankan Organizations (FOMSO), Mr. Mahendranathan Thuraiappah, President of Malaysian Ceylonese Congress (MCC) , Dato A. Yogesvaran, Chairman of Malaysian Ceylonese National Community Centre (MCNCC) also attended the Memorial.
